As Friends of the Kingsville Parade, we invite you to participate in the 40th consecutive Kingsville Independence Day Parade.  The Theme this year is

 “From Liberty's View”

  6. Family, Group or Individual Entry - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

  7. Young Set (Age 12 & under) - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

  8.  Commercial Entries or Floats - 1st, 2nd, 3rd (trophy awards only)

  9.  Non-Commercial Floats - 1st, 2nd, 3rd (trophy awards only)

    Judges Awards  -  BEST INTERPRETATION OF THEME:   1st  - $150;   2nd  - $100;   3rd  - $50;

 19th Annual Mary Frances Sheppard Award for BEST ENTRY IN PARADE  -  $150

Pre-parade music and celebration commences 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 4th at the Judges viewing stand.  Parade entrants will form starting at 9:30 A.M. at the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company on

Bellvue Avenue
.  The Parade will start promptly at 10:45 A.M. and proceed down Bradshaw Road for opening ceremonies at the Judges stand at 11:00 A.M., turn right on Jerusalem Road and end at St. Paul's Church.  There will be NO RAIN DATE.   Please note, Bradshaw and Jerusalem Roads will be closed at 9:50 A.M.
Participants will receive a letter from the Parade Committee with instructions and directions to access the parade formation lineup.   As construction at the Kingsville VFC will begin after the parade, staging for line up will remain as in past years.  Winners will be notified within the week following the parade and invited to the July18th meeting of the GKCA for awards and trophy presentations in the above categories.

Persons and/or organizations entering the parade agree, by virtue of entering the parade, to indemnify and hold harmless The Greater Kingsville Civic Association, Inc., The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc., Parade Committee, its officers, agents, members and volunteers from and against any and all claims, causes of action, costs, expenses, and liabilities, including legal expenses,  of any kind whatsoever, including bodily injury, death, property damage, and any other loss, arising out of or related to Applicant’s participation in the Parade, whether or not caused by the negligence of any indemnity hereunder.  Applicant  acknowledges and agrees to the Statement of Purpose and Rules and Principles of Safe Parade Participation for the Kingsville Independence Day Parade.
