2021 Parade Recap:

Opening Ceremonies were held at the judges viewing stand with John Teal, Master of Ceremonies presiding.  Leading the parade was the Honor Guard from the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company.  At 11:10 A.M. we were honored to have a “Fly By” from the Maryland Air National Guard.  Our National Anthem was performed by Jacob Johnson, accompanied by the Aberdeen High School Band under the direction of Kaitlyn Wittman.   

Judging Results:

Entries were judged in a number of categories by Judges Michael Trush, Rita Sayler, Rick Eyre, Mary Jo Button and Cat Murphy. Some entries were not judged.

Category #2 – Bands/Musical:

1st Bud Huson American Pride Award - $150 – C. Milton Wright High School Marching Mustangs - Band directed by Dr Joel Frisch

2nd – North Harford High School -  Band directed by John Wojciechowski

#3 – Aberdeen High School -  Band directed by Kaitlyn Wittman

Category #3 – Antique Vehicles:

1st – Russell A Piper – 3 Antique Fire Trucks

2nd – Nick Belkoff – 1963 Imperial Crown Coupe

 Judges Awards for BEST INTERPRETATION OF THEME – “From Liberty's View”:

20th Annual Mary Frances Sheppard Award for Best Entry in Parade $150:

Winners received formal notification in the mail. Trophies presented at the July 21st meeting of the Greater Kingsville Civic Association held at the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department.

6 Marching Bands!

The Bands marching in the Parade were the Baltimore City Pipe Band, Aberdeen High School Eagle Marching Band, Edgewood Ram Marching Band, C. Milton Wright High School Marching Mustangs, Joppatowne High School Mariner Marching Band, North Harford High School Marching Hawks.
